My big sister Amy went to Haiti on a medical missions trip at the beginning of May. When she came back, she asked if I would design an album using her journal and pictures. I was very excited to take on this project for her. I'm so proud of my sister for raising money and using her vacation time to do this trip. Amy is a wonderful nurse, and I'm sure the patients in Haiti were blessed by her gentle comfort and encouragement. It's an incredible thing when people use their God-given gifts to serve others in need.
Here are some layouts I wanted to share. I can't wait for the book to arrive!
You can see the rest of the album here. I love you, Ames, and I am so proud of you!

ReplyDeleteWhat a beautiful book! And what a precious memory for Amy. Good job!!
ReplyDeleteas always Katie i'm really impressed how amazing this turned out! can't wait to see the hard copy!
ReplyDeleteKatie, you must have captured the experience for Amy. I feel like I was there. Amy's words...her journaling...she is equally as gifted as her sister in expressing her feelings on paper. How precious will this book be for Amy and anyone reading it!!! You should make two, Katie, and send one back to Haiti for other teams to read!
ReplyDeleteThis last post by "anonymous" sure sounds a lot like my mom.
