Happy Friday, everyone! It's a beautiful sunny day in Cincinnati, which makes me very happy indeed :)

The photography on this week's layout is brought to you by Neysa Ruhl. I just love her style. The full bleed on all four sides of this spread is the perfect way to showcase these amazing getting ready images. I especially love the ruby red shoes and how nicely they matched the bride's sweatshirt. That's magic.

Birth Announcements

It's no secret that I have a passion for album design. But here is something you may not know - I also love love LOVE to design cards. Invitations, birth announcements, Christmas cards, you name it. I recently designed these birth announcement postcards for a friend's sister:

Layout of the Week and "Playing Dead"

Yikes, I haven't posted since last Friday's layout of the week. Sorry about that! This week's layout is actually a cover design for a coffee table style album. Sometimes these are my favorite part of the book. Aren't these pretty colors?

I'm wishing for a tropical vacation this week. Probably because I was working on a destination wedding album that took place in Playa del Carmen. Such a beautiful place! Sometimes I dream of relocating KruBooks to an island like this...

Spotlight on GauperPhoto

One of my favorite studios to work with happen to be two of my favorite people. I went to college with Holly - she has an incredible eye for design, and is a wiz at photoshop. I have always been in awe of her really. Then she married this amazing photographer, Ryan. Together they make an awesome team. So much fun!

Last Valentine's day, Holly and Ryan made a visit to Cincinnati and did a little photo shoot with us. We had such a great time! I love all the shots - it's hard to pick just a few to feature.

I'm in a wedding in August for another one of my good college friends. Stephanie and her fiance are wildly entertaining, not to mention insanely good looking :) Ryan and Holly will be the photographers for the wedding, and I am so excited to see them in action. Here are a couple of shots from their engagement shoot with Hup and Steph.

Eye Candy

I'm working on an album now for a beautiful Texas wedding. Brooke Schwab was the photographer, and she did an awesome job. I just came across these fun shots from the reception. Don't you love candy displays? These bright images make me positivity giddy. As I've said, I'm such a sucker for detail shots (no pun intended).

4th of July in Greenville

Brent and I traveled to Greenville, SC for 4th of July. We had a wonderful visit! I always love time with Brent's family. On the way home, we picked up our new vizsla mix, Walter. All and all, it was a great trip!
